On September 13th, 2019, I married my best friend! I was so excited to take on the challenge to create our custom wedding invitations and other supporting creative projects to carry the theme. Our wedding took place next to the cliffs of the St. Vrain River under a spectacular Harvest moon. I carried this motif throughout our invitations and decor, using a combination of watercolor artwork with calligraphy and an artistic design approach.

 

I used a rich, dramatic warm color palette to compliment the moody colors of September in Colorado. The invitation included a hand-painted map informing our guests of the atmosphere and layout. The cohesive design elements set the perfect tone for such a beautiful day.
