Grind Haus coffee company commits to sustaining the perfect atmosphere for people who love quality coffee and reading books. They do so by serving specialty coffees as well as providing used books for costumers to either read while enjoying their coffee or rent to take with them. The coffee bar offers a large variety of teas and simple treats, as well as high quality, fair trade coffee products that roast in small batches in a beanery in Portland, Oregon. The company only purchases beans from Guatemalan villages and importers who follow the Fair Trade agreement that improves economic opportunity, and the health in the villages. Purchasing Grind Haus coffee also benefits schools in the country from which the coffee is grown.

These products meet the needs of people who consider coffee their main vice. Grind Haus’ coffee products are versatile and can make any costumer happy. Through the brand design, costumers can see that Grind Haus is an engaging and stylish design. Packaging, coffee coasters, signage, uniforms and store display are just a few of the marketing tools used to represent the brand identity. A simple black, and cream palette combined with a rich, dark brown give the brand a bold, but still friendly impression. The colors pair with a simple, easy to read san-serif typefaces that contrast the grungy, collage like type of the logo. The brand also uses an authentic typewriter typeface referencing Dadaism.
